Installing the Printer Queues

1. Start by downloading the Ricoh 5503 printer driver from http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/re/model/mpc4503/mpc4503en.htm, mount the downloaded disk image and install the Ricoh printer driver package. 1. Click Use and Select Software... and Select Ricoh MP C5503 PS 1. Click OK 1. Then repeat the process to add the BSG Follow Me Colour Queue using the URL smb://bsg-prt01.bsg.ox.ac.uk/Follow-Me-Colour 1. Then, change default settings for each new print queue, by selecting the queue in Printers then click Options & Supplies 1. Select Options and select the following

  • Option Tray: Lower Paper Trays
  • Finisher SR3150

1. Then, open a print dialog and click Copies & Pages and select Printer Features from the drop down list. 1. Under the General 1 Feature set, select the following:

  • Fit to Paper: Nearest Size and Scale - this means A3 jobs released to an A4-only printer will come out shrunk to fit on A4 paper.
  • Color Mode: Color / Black and white (as per name)
