Only two printers/print queues are installed on BSG Orchard Macs: BSG Follow Me Colour and BSG Follow Me Mono.
Start by downloading the Ricoh 5503 printer driver from http://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/re/model/mpc4503/mpc4503en.htm. Mount the downloaded disk image and install the Ricoh printer driver package.
Open System Preferences and select Printers & Scanners.
Click the lock icon and enter your username and password (for a user with local admin privileges).
Select the + under the Printers list, a new dialogue window will appear.
Right Click on the toolbar and select Customise Toolbar... Drag the Advanced icon to toolbar.
Click the Advanced icon, set Type to Windows printer via spoolss
Add the BSG Follow Me Mono URL:
* smb://bsg-prt01.bsg.ox.ac.uk/Follow-Me-Mono
Add the Name: BSG - Follow Me Colour
Click Use and Select Software... and select Ricoh MP C4503 PS from the list.
Click OK
Then repeat the process to add the BSG Follow Me Colour Queue:
smb://bsg-prt01.bsg.ox.ac.uk/Follow-Me-Colour
Then, for each new print queue.
Changes to the standard defaults for the queues are set in CUPS:

Tray selection defaults to 'Auto Select' though this does not appear in the CUPS GUI. Print jobs should be left to auto-select the correct tray unless a specific tray is required e.g. bypass tray.
If you wish to specify additional printing options (such as multiple copies, printing one-sided, watermarking, stapling, booklet printing etc.), click Copies & Pages and select another page of settings from the menu.
