Accessing my files on an AV Mac

Each AV enabled room includes a Mac which is configured to automatically log-in to an insecure, shared, local user account. Because anyone can access this account Users are asked not to access any secure files with this user account, instead we ask that you log into the AV Mac using your normal BSG Network username and password.

Important: As the AV Macs are usable by anyone with access to the room, it is essential that you log out at the end of the meeting.

Logging in with your BSG network credentials

1. Click the Apple logo at the left of the Menu Bar select the option: Log Out AVUser

2. Enter your BSG network username and password in the login box
3. Access any files as normal, using mapped shares in the Finder.

Re-setting the AV Mac

1. Click the Apple logo at the left of the Menu Bar select the option: Restart

2. The AV Mac will now restart, and automatically log in to the local AVUser account
