Follow Me Printing in Mac OS X

How to print in OS X

  1. Open the Print window in the normal way for your application, eg. click Print on the File menu.
  2. In the Print window, open the printer list.

  3. In the list of printers you will see a number of Follow Me printers. There are multiple Follow Me printers to allow you to quickly select printing options, e.g. whether you want to print in colour or mono (black and white). Select a suitable Follow Me printer.

  4. Choose any additional printing options you require, such as printing one-sided, watermarking, stapling, booklet printing etc. Commonly needed features os x print dialog - select further options

  5. Click Print to send the print job to the Follow Me printer.

  6. Move to the printer you want to print from, then swipe your University card on the reader.

  7. You will see your list of print jobs. Tap an individual job to show information on that job and options to print or delete it. Alternatively tap 'Print all' to release all jobs.
