Event WiFi

We can offer custom Wireless networks for significant Internal and External events. These take the form of a custom network name (or SSID) and a list of usernames and passwords.

Please note, where your event is largely attended by University staff or students we strongly recommend that delegates use the Eduroam network. This results in less disruption for users, less organisation and logistics for the Event organiser and the IT team.

Arranging Event WiFi

Please contact us 2 weeks before an event by emailing it@bsg.ox.ac.uk with the following details.

We need:

  • The name of the event contact
  • A proposed network name, up to 32 characters.
  • The start time and end time of your event.
  • The expected number of delegates.

No later than 5 days before the event: The completed WiFi user list
