Open Keka for the first time === * Open the Applications folder. * Click on the icon to open Keka. * Accept the security warning by clicking 'Open'. {{attachment:4_SecurityWarning.png}} * Two new windows will appear, 'General' and 'Keka' * In the 'General' window, click the icon for 'Compression' * Change the default format to '7z'. Encrypt files === * With Keka open, select the 7z icon. * Enter a password into the 'Password' and 'Repeat' boxes. * Drag the file, files, or folder that you wish to encrypt over to the 'Keka' window. {{attachment:5_Encrypt.png}} * A new file will appear with the original file name, appended with the 7z extension. === 4.
