Manually connecting MacOS computers to BSG Fileshares

To manually connect to the BSG File Servers.

  • Select Finder.
  • From the menubar, select "Go"
  • Select "Connect to Server"
  • Alternatively use the shortcut cmd-k when Finder is active.
  • Type the following into "Server Address"

    afp://bsg-fs.bsg.ox.ac.uk/Live/

(use the + button to add this to Favorite Servers.)

Then click "Connect"

Repeat the process to connect to your home folder, using these server details:

afp://bsg-fs.bsg.ox.ac.uk/RedirectedStaffFolders/_Login_User_Short_Name_/

Replacing _Login_User_Short_Name_ with your SSO.
